I just bought a new HP M9100T elite pc with vista premium 64-bit. And it came with a vixs puretv-u 48b0 tv tuner, i need to know if there is a way to record videos from a vcr to it using windows. I picked up a TV tuner card, “vixs pure tv-u 48b0 ntsc atsc combo” and have installed it in a Dell Dimension B110 system running XP SP2. The drivers have been installed successfully. The card is connected to the cable TV coax, the one I disconnected from my standalone TV, so I know it is working.

My friend got this working on windows 7 by installing some older drivers he saw recommended here but I can't find the post he is talking about and was hoping someone with the same card could point me in the right direction. I can get it to scan it just doesn't find anything.
